ASTM E119 is the fire-resistance test method for building assemblies — walls, partitions, columns, beams, and floor and roof assemblies — exposed to a standard time-temperature fire.
What changed?
ASTM lists E119-26 as the current edition, superseding E119-24. We have not summarised clause-level differences because ASTM does not publish them outside the document; obtain the redline (RLV) edition from ASTM or an authorised reseller to see exact changes.
