How to list independent laboratory services accurately
A good listing lets a buyer decide in a minute whether to send you a request. Specific methods, matrices and verifiable recognitions beat broad claims.
What to include
Describe each service by method designation, matrix and measured property. Mark which methods are inside an accredited scope and link the scope document from your accreditation body [1][2].
What to leave out
Do not state accreditation for methods outside your scope, list instruments you cannot schedule, or claim GLP compliance unless your studies are run under 21 CFR Part 58 [4].
Keep it current
Re-check the listing whenever your scope or a cited method changes. ISO/IEC 17025 itself shows how editions are tracked: the 2017 edition is Edition 3 and was last confirmed in 2023 [1].
