UL 2272: e-scooters and personal e-mobility (not e-bikes)

UL 2272 covers electrical systems for personal e-mobility devices — self-balancing boards, many e-scooters, e-unicycles. E-bikes are generally evaluated under UL 2849 instead. Confirm product classification with your certification body.

Why classification matters

Choosing the wrong standard wastes samples and time. Describe the device (pedals, seat, speed, power) in your request so the lab can confirm.
